We knew instantly when we first met Dan Coletti that we had found our builder. From the first handshake to the last we experienced nothing but first class professionalism. This is a company that prides itself on getting the job done and getting it done right and in a timely manner. Their sub-contractors are some of the best in the business, if not the best. Everyone that worked on our home was skilled, courteous and their attention to detail was really nothing short of remarkable. As you view the photographs you will be able to observe exactly what we are saying. Sun West took a vacant piece of land and turned it into a home that not only has a breathtaking view but is also warm, inviting and very classy.

Dear Friends at Sun West,
At this time of sorrow, I am finding solace in the remembrances of Don around me. The beautiful home you helped us build together is part of my everyday and part of the way I stay connected to him. Thank-you for helping us create a place of beauty and peace.
We never planned on building a house together. We had heard many "horror" stories about the stress and strain such an activity can have upon a marriage. How unlike the experience we shared as we built with you. From the first meetings with Sun West, we felt comfortable and at ease knowing that we were in good hands. Each visit with you brought us more and more excitement. As we watched our home move from one stage of planning to the next and then watched the actual construction begin and move to completion, we felt as if we were an integral part of the creation of something beautiful.
We appreciated the careful supervision that went into each stage of the construction including all of the fine finishing touches. We also appreciated your willingness to graciously receive all of our telephone calls as you addressed courteously and respectfully our concerns. How happy Don was with the final results. Since the completion of our home, we have appreciated the continued following through with questions and problems.
I am so sorry that Don was not able to spend more time enjoying the beautiful creation that you helped build. Still, I find him somewhat "present" as I continue to be surrounded by the walls that you and he built for me to live in

As one of the very first clients of Sun West in Las Vegas, we consider ourselves very fortunate to have found Dan, Sun West, and all of his exceptional staff. The design and construction was first class. As a result, more than 15 years later, we are still delighted with our Sun West home. We have been so happy and satisfied that we recently asked Dan to build a casita for Katie's mother to live in. With the design group's considerable assistance, we made a 1400 sq ft casita into an enviable home, consistent with Sun West's standards of quality and design. Again, we are delighted with the results. We can't imagine that any other builder could have given us the results we now have.

We conducted a lot of research before we decided on a builder for our custom home. One of our major concerns was using an architect who then would have to work with a general contractor or various sub-contractors. In my experience, two things can happen that make this a very difficult process. First, since the architect usually doesn't have a great understanding of the current building costs, you can receive a design that you love but when you go out for bids, the costs can come in much higher than budget. Secondly, architects aren't builders. What happens is that builders can, in most instances, achieve the same design elements of the house at a less expensive price by creating "building efficiencies". By splitting these functions, things can get muddled up very quickly and costs can spiral out of control. What we loved was that Sun West offered a "one-stop shop". They provided both the complete design of the house and built it as well. This really helped us in getting the home that we wanted without having to deal with multiple parties. The communication process was efficient and we avoided all the "he-said-she said" scenarios that can happen when you build a custom home using multiple parties. In addition, Sun West has developed a very efficient method for designing the house that minimizes costs and fast tracks the process. Finally and most importantly, Sun West stands behind their product. When there is a problem, it is addressed. Nothing can be more important than that when you're going through this process.
